ANTS-how to get rid of them?

Turned on the defroster with fan on high and about 10K little crazy ant #$%^^$%ers came blowing out !
There is no food anywhere in my truck for them to eat. Shy of maybe a little water from the AC.
How in the heck do I get rid of these #%^*&!$%ers ? I thought I ran them out months ago, now here they are again !

Don't have much of an ant problem up here but in California we got rid of them using White Vinegar.

a Mexican guy and his wife took care of the house while I was gone poured White Vinegar down the ant hole and sprayed around the house GONE!!!!

Don't blame me if it doesn't work in Texas I hear that you folks have some BAD XXX ANTS DOWN THAT WAY but its worth a try and White Vinegar is cheap enough.

Tablespoon of regular sugar, tablespoon of boraxo (boric acid), blend together with enough water to dissolve into a syrupy liquid. Soak a cotton ball and leave near ant trail. Ants eat the syrup and take it back to the nest and kills them all. Did this for an infestation in our truck camper, took a couple of days but they are totally gone.

You can also use self contained ant baits that contain Amdro (not the Amdro granules that we use on fire ants. You can get them at Wally World, big box home improvement stores or pretty much anywhere that sells insecticides.

Roll up the windows, park it in the hot sun and bake 'em.

We had some come in our house once and this is what we did. I think they were made by Raid. Little black plastic things. Ants were gone within a week and have never been back.
