I heard on the radio that DC was working with CAT for future truck engines. Of course, a CAT is in the Powerwagon concept, but could a CAT be in the 2003? Would that be good?

Unless Cat has a totally new motor on the drawing board, the 3126 is a terrible motor! It is much heavier than our 5. 9 but makes the same power (or less!), the cyliders are not sleeved, making it a "disposible engine", and parts are incrediblly expensive, fuel consumption is less than wonderful... and when I went shopping for a medium-duty truck, I couldnt find one mechanic that would bomb a Cat!! Said it wouldnt take it like a Cummins.
Let's all hope we get the Cummins or the MB motors!
