Competition Got me a beemer yesterday.

Im looking to find another ram and get a 12 valve this time.

Im curious as to what peoples set ups are to run in these time ranges. .

I realize its quite a range but just trying to get an idea.

I myself am looking for an auto 4wd reg cab.

I figured this is the lightest of all without having 2wd.

thanks guys

I have a 97 12 valve fairly well built that run's 11. 69 @ 114. It's a 4x4, Suncoast transmission, and a few goodies. It's for sale by the way. Gary

HiJack:Oo.

Or I have a '96 std cab auto 4x4 that I might part with and you could build it your own way:)

A buddy's 94 2wd, full wieght, head work, suncoast, twins, snow water inj, stock 370's,full cut dvs,4k gsk, stock suspention w/ Caltracs, M&H Dot slicks. totaly streetable, drive to the track and bust off 11. 23@124 and then drive home.

wow thanks alot guys, I think Id be happy somewhere in that range. Now transmission wise, what kind of internals or billet pieces are needed to run that consistently without worry?

Fastest 12V I'm aware of is a 2wd that runs in the 11s-10s (has to do it with slicks but truck is street legal).

Jimmy Smith currently holds the record with a 9. 75. It is not really streetable though. Darren Morrison's black truck runs 10. 20's and will drive to the chicken shack to pick up dinner after it is done.

I know Michael at HotRodDiesels has had a couple of 12v, street legal trucks in the 11s. Last one was the shop truck he through one of his transmissions in, a set of twins, roll cage, drag links and slicks. I think that engine was basically stock with over 200K IIRC. Made interesting trips to the supply store for parts I am sure.

Fletchers truck is in the 9s.

Maddogs crew cab Ford does 10s.

If you really want to save wieght put a p-pump in a 89 or 90 regular cab 4x4. That would keep you down around 5400 lbs.
