2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Any 2002s left?

I bought a 2002 quadcab 2wd this last summer, but looking to move to illinois and dont know if the 2wd will handle it. I've only got 16K on this thing and not much cash to throw in for boot. It's a 2wd HO 6 speed. I'm wondering if there's any possibliiity of trading almost straight up for a new or very slightly used 2002 std cab 4x4 HO... . Maybe it's just a pipe dream, but now I know better than to buy under what I really want. And the quad cab isn't worth crap to me in hindsight... Anyone know of any stripped 2002 4x4s sitting around waiting to be sold???:--)

There's another current topic of someone looking to locate any left over 2002 trucks. Might read it, there where some leads on were a few 2002 trucks are left.

When I bought my truck 16 months ago, I was looking at two trucks that were virtually identical, except color and 2WD vs 4WD. I lived in CO at the time and decided to get the 4WD. A few months ago, I moved to AZ, and now I wish I had the 2WD because of the lower weight, higher cargo weight, lower curb height, and better milage. Mine has 20,000 on it.



Interesting possibility.

Lithia Dodge in Eugene, Oregon has about 6 or 7 02's. Mostly autos though i think. Could be worth closer inspection.
