Howdy,
I'm new here and lacking the most important thing that causes most folks to want to be a member of TDR (check my signature). I'm looking to buy a 12 valve. I currently drive an old Toyota pickup and am used to small trucks. The new truck will be my daily driver and only form of transportation so this is going to be a pretty big change and one I'm going to need to be happy with.
Unfortunately, I've never driven one. I sat in the passenger seat on a day trip in a friends 1995 4wd almost 10 years ago. That's all the seat time I've got. Everything I'm finding for sale is going to require flying out of state to even look at. Before I make that kind of commitment it would sure be helpful to have some more experience with these trucks.
Are there any TDR members with a 2wd 12 valve 2500 near me that would be willing to let me take a look at their truck? Even a short ride in the passenger seat and a look under the hood would tell me a lot about what they should sound & feel like.
If you've got a few minutes and interested in helping a newb out, PM me. I'm in Torrance, CA and willing to drive up to an hour away.
Thanks,
Brent
