Any Arkansans here?

I'm about to start a new job in Little Rock. I figured I'd see if there are any diesel nuts down there already, or if I'm going to have to terrorize the whole state by myself. :-laf

I am in Central FL but am going to take a 3 week RV vacation (1 - 21 July) to Hot Springs. I generally have an extra beverage of choice if you are in that area.

Hot Springs isn't very far away. Have you been there before?

No, know nothing about it. We typically go to north GA mtns but wanted a change so we picked Arkansas this time.



We are coming out of central FL, to I 10, pickup 231 north, then sort of angle NW to Menphis, then sort of W till we get to Hot Springs.



Specifically a KOA in a state park.



Would be interesting to swap truck stories over some "burgers & brew". Will take about 2 or 3 days to get there.

I live in Jacksonville which is very close to Little Rock. As a matter of fact, I work in Little Rock at the airport. Been there 30 years... .

I live in CA but go to ARK. nearly every year, and have for over 20 years.

2 of my grandchildren attend college in Conway and own a home there. A Corp of Engineers park is near there and is a nice place to stay despite it's name, "Toad Suck". It isn't too far from Little Rock. Northern Ark. is very nice country.

Our vacation dates are travel July 6,7,8 get there 8 stay till 20 then start back. First time going to Arkansas. REALLY looking forward to it.



Is diesel generally easy to find?, or should I make sure the aux is filled whenever possible?

Do you work at Falcon?? Man, I'm glad somebody other than me in Arkansas actually realizes a diesel truck can be more than just a work truck!

Yes diesel is usually easy to find as long as your not too far off the main highways. The little towns usually don't have it, but the larger ones do, but more are getting it.
