Any big changes for 2005?

Hello all, another newbie here! I am a long time lurker that just joined. I am getting ready to place an order for a 2500 quad cab cummins with a 6 spd. 4x4 slt with some extras. I just wanted to know if any big changes are in store for the new model year? Please bear with my many questions that will be forth comming

Since Dodge is so tight lipped about 2005 model I figure there must be some changes, and they want to clear out 04's before showing 05's. If the trucks were the same Dodge would be using this as tool to sell 04's



Just speculation on my part, I could be totally wrong.

My own opinion is that the truck will be the same. Why change it? They did a mid year motor change already. I also think that the 04 305/555 will be worth a bit more in the later years due to the less smog stuff and NO cat converter. But, that is just my own opinion.

There will be a sunroof option for '05 if you want one. There has been little info so far.

I talked to my cousin over the weekend who works at the truck plant in St Louis. She tells me that the sunroof will be the only change and that they had made 700 (300 white, 400 red) 05's before they shut down for retooling in June. She said these first 700 were supposed to be allocated as the first ones to a select bunch of dealers and that they should be getting them the first week in august. Meanwhile production is supposed to begin again today.
