I'm not from OK but I bought my truck in Claremore. I remember once about 2 years ago TDR member TULSA618 had a gathering once in Tulsa but I think he moved to Kansas City. I have not seen any get togethers in OK since. I wouldn't mind one in tulsa. Its closer than KS City.

I am "from" Oklahoma but now live in Texas. I was born about 17 miles NW of McAlester at a place called Ulan, large place with a country store/post office combo. Bought my truck from Mark Roberts in Bartlesville, would do it again. Good luck on the get together. bg

Born and raised in Oklahoma and still here. I know there are a couple of more members in the Tulsa area. Let me know if you want to have a "get together" and we'll work something out.

Just Moved here to OKC!!!!

Came from Connecticut... .
I LOVE IT HERE!!!!

Honestly, I've never seen so many Cummins Rams in one place at the same time!!

The other day I came out of The Sears store in the Quail Spring Mall... and counted FIVE just out to my truck in the parking Lot!!!

Any state with that much Cummins power is for ME!!!!

Let's get something going!!!

Larry

18 miles as the crow flies from OK.

About that many miles north of Kojak from West Fork (Deer country).

I have the OTHER computer in Arkansas!

NW Arkansas is Cummins country!

I moved to Oklahoma City from Denver about two years ago. If someone gets a meeting arranged I would sure like to attend. I think someone had a meeting in Tulsa last year but I could not attend and have not heard anymore about it.

Well, there must be 3 computers in Arkansas.

I went to the first meet which Tulsa618 organized in January of 2000. It was well attended even though the weather was bad. VIP guests included Blue Chip Diesel himself (all the way from Connecticut, New Hampshire or somewhere in the NE) and Mark Kitchell from Nebraska who is a moderator on this board.

I think another meet would be well attended. I live about 100 miles east of Tulsa. Bought my truck in Claremore.

Great to hear we're getting started here in Oklahoma City or here-a-bouts. I live here since last June, and have been in my new Dodge CTD since Christmas. My cell phone is:
248-842-4631 which I brought with me from Detroit.

Well, I’m glad our snowy little event in Tulsa has not been forgotten. I had a lot fun getting going with that one, and had a great time meeting all the folks who braved the worst weather of the year to stop by. (I still correspond with several I met that day!) It was quite amazing – 13 trucks came in from EIGHT STATES! Just goes to show you the powerful pull of those mighty Cummins, huh?

I’d received a lot of great material from Robert Patton to aid in getting an Oklahoma chapter established when this sudden job move hit. My leisurely 40 hour work weeks in Tulsa have turned into hectic 70 hour work weeks in KC, leaving scarcely any time to follow through with getting a local chapter set up (much less keeping up with the board…).

That said, I’d like to encourage you guys to keep driving to start a local chapter. All it takes is a little time and a little dedication. Our little event in Tulsa grew out of nothing but a desire to meet with other Cummins/Ram owners, and chapters can spring up from such desire. If nothing else, just start posting something like, “I’ll be at the Denny’s at I-244 and Sheridan on Saturday, the 5th, at 11 AM. ” Just see how many folks turn up!

I still travel fairly regularly to Claremore for my $9. 27 lube/oil/filter/fluids/etc job. (Thanks, Meltons!) If timing works out right, I’d love to join you.

Guess I'm the number four computer in Arkansas. I'm about 3 hours from Tulsa. Been living & working on the east coast for longer than I care to remember. Decided to come back "home" now that bubba and mrs. bubba have moved to NY.

Would sure be interested in a get together somewhere around Tulsa.
