Any brake upgrades yet?

Any slotted rotors, perf. pads or anything out yet for the 3rd gens?



My brakes seem ALOT less effective than they used to, although the pads still have alot of material left on them.



I'd like to get some slotted rotors and good pads eventually.

Don't know about the upgrades but my brakes are starting to squeek and it's driving my mad Anybody elses brakes doing this?

Mine are still doing great but I only have about 18k on 'em.



How many miles on yours?

Not sure if your asking me or clayton on the mileage of the brakes.



Mileage of the truck is just under 13k.



The truck still stops fine, it just seems to take a bit longer/require more pedal pressure than before for some reason.

The brakes on my '03 didn't squeak, but definately lost their grab before 20K (has 31K on it now). After a hard stop it would regain it's ability to grab without having to push too hard on the stop peddle, but that grab wouldn't last long. Having just picked up the new '4. 5, I realized just how much braking the '03 lost. In recent years I've had to replace many pads & shoes that had lots of material left on them, but had become to hardened to be useful...
