I read it was actually part of the Minneapolis PD standard operating procedure and is used by many depts nationwide.

I'm sure there's an appropriate time and place for its use, but not in the case of Mr. Floyd... and certainly not for 8 or 9 minutes.

I read that most departments have changed their policy regarding using it.

Seattle police should be using it on the anarchist in downtown this evening, and ship their limp butts back to Eugene, Or. How many times does Seattle have to live through having these anarchist coming to town to cause damage.

Inslee has activated 200 members of the national guard to protect property. Unarmed !!!!

When I saw the film of the cop murdering that guy the first thing I thought of was over 50 years ago when we were in boot camp going thru close combat training. One of the things they taught us was how to come up behind someone and put the same pressure points on someones neck that the cop did with his knee (they used me to demo on, I was out like a light in seconds). It was meant as a way to kill someone quickly. And those other cops just stood there and watched.
But watching the riots on tv reminded me once again why I havent been in that seattle cesspool in years.

Time to replace the rubber with LEAD.

Anyone will faint quickly when the flow of blood through the carotids is blocked. Shoot, I once accidentally 'hanged' myself many years ago by placing a noose of, mmm, 1/8" cord/twine around my neck not loose, but not really snug. That's all it took to make me faint. Someone who was there realized the cause soon enough and loosened the noose, and I came to immediately. (There's a story behind that noose--it did have 13 loops, but it's not relevant here.)

They had a peaceful demonstration in Nashville yesterday afternoon and then last night, they set fire to the Metro Nashville courthouse, vandalized police vehicles, tore down street lights in the courthouse mall, vandalized surrounding buildings, and then proceeded to Broadway and vandalized and looted most of the bars and businesses there.

Many "PROTESTERS" are looting and destroying neighborhood businesses owned and operated by their OWN neighbors. Criminal activities are never justified as a means of protesting... much of this is "CRIMINALS BEING CRIMINALS."

What happened was wrong, too bad it took so long for the local legal jurisdiction to take action and even then, only arrested one. Four "BAD COPS" needed arresting, one for MURDER 2nd Degree, and three others for ACCESSORY TO MURDER, and arrests should have been made that SAME day or the next day at the LATEST.

The killer cop was really arrogant kneeling on the victims neck, especially after the victim lost consciousness and had to know he was being videoed and photographed. This stupidity needs to stop as it harms all of us.

I'll too want to see how the trial progresses.

I’m right now flipping from the NASCAR race to Fox News, and I’m totally agape at the destruction going on in Philadelphia at this moment.
Live aerial video of these animals looting what looks like an Islamic thrift store. Even Islam is not immune in philly. This is so disturbing.

The national guard needs to clear the streets with a road train of dueces and osh koshes. They'd be doing the world a favor.
