Is there any difference between the two 03 air filters, Fleetguard, Mopar. I know Geno's sells the Fleetguard and they are cheaper than the dealership. Any problems as far as warranty goes not using the Mopar filter. I'm planning on staying stock for now. :D

From all of the posts I have read Fleetguard is owned by Cummins. I ordered the kit from Geno's and changed oil, filter, and fuel filter this morning. I was dreading it but with the Oil Filter Wrench from Geno's it was very easy.

I just got the 4-2-1 kit from Geno's and it came with a Mopar air filter. Stopped by the local Cummins parts store a few weeks ago and the did not have an air filter for a 2003 Dodge.

sellesd: You are correct, got the Geno's catalog out again and there it is in black and white, Mopar Air Filter (03). I guess I'll have to go ahead and invest in those Walmart reading glasses after all. Thank's. :-laf

My Mopar replacement filter was made in Great Britain that is going to a lot of work to disguise. Or is fleetgaurd from there?

Anybody know where you can buy Mopar filters (air, fuel, oil) at a discount. I'd like to stay with the Mopar product if possible since I just don't know if the Fleetguard is as good. Usually you get what you pay for but Not Always.

Fleetguard IS as good if not better than Mopar filters. Buy a truck other than a Dodge that has a Cummins under the hood and it will have Fleetguard filters on it from the factory. Fleetguard is Cummins filter division.

Go figure. I based my Mopar oil filter theory on info I read here. If your filter was made in England then I will definitly only use Fleetguards.

Also, goto a CUMMINS shop or store and you WILL see the FLEETGUARD filters or if you ask they will tell you or get one from stock. They ONLY use the FLEETGUARD filters (unless you bring them in a nippo for service :p ). .

Just another CHEAP opinion.
