has anyone dyno'ed a stage 2 pump before and after with some good mods to see what just the pump gained you?

no bashing please

650 hp with a blown headgasket on 3 cylinders on a dynojet using a floor it cp3. still has plenty left... ... ... .....

that helps a ton.

Well, not sure if that was sarcastic or not. So I will ask what all were you looking for? Not a lot of the guys have hit the dyno yet with them. I plan to hit it very soon with my newest mods. I can tell you this much, I can set my rail pressure wherever I want to with the SP Diesel box and the pump has no problems maintaining the pressure. With the Bullydog, 90 HP injectors and the SP pressure box on level 5 out of 10 it will hold 27-28 K all day long. I haven't ran past level 5 cause I haven't been able to read any higher. That is the limit of the factory sending unit

Most guys are running them in sledpulling and racing. Alot of the guys have seen . 5 seconds knocked off there track times just from installing a modded cp3

sorry, just looking for "pump gain #'s" i hear all sorts of gains from 2-110 or more but with all the trucks with them i cant believe no-one has dyno'ed yet to see what the "pump" gained them.

Can't give you an accurate reading. I had a blown head gasket at our last event and haven't been back. I prefer to always use the same shop so that I have a good baseline. I hope to get up there in a couple weeks. Right now they are booked solid

the latest #'s i know of is from I. I the gain on there modded cp3 pump is 83 hp over a " stage 1" cp3, i dont have any confermed #'s on my truck but it did make a difference much like the injectors did.

i thought it was a bad relief valve?

sorry for off topic, but...

Do you think it was just a cumulative effect over time or a one time event with the power you're running, even though you're running head studs?

pretty sure it had more to do with the tq wrench. :D It was way off of calibration. All is well now, I replaced it with a new one.
