Great Joke -

Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting New SNEAKY Anti gun efforts

This li'l critter joined me atop my desk today. Anyone know what it is? That is, besides being an insect with a proboscis. :) With the body curled up as you see it, it's about 3/4" head-to-tail.

A 5/8-hearted web search didn't turn up anything other than to tell me it's not a spider and it isn't winged.

Tried another search. Seems it might be a 'wheel bug', or more specifically, a wheel bug nymph. Dunno what it's doing in the house.....

It's ugly whatever it is. I'm not fond of any bugs.

I have a Black Widow in a jar on my desk that I found inside my welding mask. I wouldn't have ever guessed I'd see one in Northern Michigan.

That's the site that pert much convinced me it's a wheel bug nymph.

Click for some more (better?) pics. They're high-res, 400-1000KB each. The dust made it harder for a piker like me to identify the critter. The 14MP pictures made it a little easier. I've no idea where it travelled to go through that much dust!
