I'm looking for an inexpensive (OK, cheap) horn that will make my presence known when I'm pulling my 5er. Does anyone use the Wolo 418 Powerhouse Horn which sell for about $65? Let me know what you think about them. Thanks.

i got mine from napa. they were $70. and they are louder then the ones a friend of mine took off a piterbuilt. ppl always tell me. nice train horns... . just keep the air up around 120psi and they will be loud. the ones from napa have two trumpets. and fit nicely inside the frame rails.

A lot of times you can find them cheap at a big truck junkyard. I bought two saddle tanks, two 24" grovers and a few other things for about $70 bucks.

The 14 and 16" Grover pair is louder than a single 24, but the 24 has a nice low tone. The 14, 16 and 24 together sound like a train horn, FWIW. A 36" would be nice.
