Like it says, any farriers roam the TDR? I'm graduating from College (diesel tech) next month. After that I would like to go to a horseshoeing school. I'm really looking at Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School. Anybody have any opinions of this school. If I go, I'll start March 7. I particularly like the location, since the George Strait Team Roping Classic will be the 11th and 12th, and it's a 6 1/2 hour drive :) :) My plan is to work a full time job so I can buy everything I need for equipment on a shoeing rig and save for some land and buildings, then quit the job and shoe and rodeo full time. Any input is appreciated.

I've never gotten any official education, but I shoe my own horses, and a few freinds. I've considered going to the OK school. From what i've seen I'd say it's the best.

My farrier graduated from OK. He took the full long class that they offered plus he has attended several classes at the Ralph Casey School in Georgia for gaited horses. I've got one farrier that does my Foxtrotters and one that does my Mules. I do my own trimming and such.
