Since full size pickups sales are lagging due to high fuel prices it is predicted that there will be some nice rebates and other incentives coming down the pike from the big-3 this Summer.

Anyone got the inside scoop? They are offering $1,000 plus $1,000 if you finance with DC. Think a $2500 rebate is in the works???

That maybe true, the automotive economics report that I was referring to, was nation wide, for pickups in general.

Is the Farm Bureau rebate still in effect?

Yep, sure is... . So if you are a member, that will soften the blow I guess :)

Don't forget that if you own a business, i. e. an S Corp, you can also get another 300 rebate by filling out a form with your business information.

I do that each time I buy a Dodge truck.

After all three hundred dollars is three hundred dollars. Oo.

Good Tip, Does an unincorporated business qualify as I unincorporated years less hassle now that I downsized

Bought a 2005 Saturday, $2500 rebates, 1000 manufacturer, 1000 if financed through Chrysler for <60 months (700 if > 60 months) and 500 farm bureau. also Got the best price on a pick-up than I have ever had and a great buying experience overall. February there was 3000 in rebates and my guess is there will be additional rebates this fall over the current March rebates. I shopped and compared for two months before buying

I see you're in Idaho, did you buy from the guys in Kellogg. I got mine from them, great price and real nice people to deal with.

GCross/George, Actually I didn't, I had a deal going in february with them But I couldn't quite get it all together in time,The next month I heard about another dealer from the TDR forum search. Checked it out and ended up buying from them instead. my brother also had a deal cooking with them and he decided to cancell and we both bought a truck from the same dealer. I bought my last truck from Dave Smith in Kellog. I agree they are great to deal with and the accesories department did a great Job also. but there are a few dealers around who are very competitive. If you would like to know more details Pm me. I also learned a tremendous amount from Tomey gun which really helped me as i was shopping and comparing, Thanks again Tomeygun.

Had an excellent truck buying experience dealing with a salesman named Tex

as Dodge City of Milwaukee. Yep, that's Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Got all the

rebates, plus an "employee" rebate and the $1,000. 00 rebate for financing

with DC. But, I was able to pay the loan off in two months with no penalty.

Got the best deal I could find any where in the U. S. on a one ton dually

with almost everything. Would definitly recommend Tex and his crew.

The incentive that did it for me was I was able to find a truck spec'd out the way I wanted AND the real incentive was it has a NV5600 in it. If I was an Auto transmission guy I would have waited to buy Later when fuel hits 3 bucks and Large truck prices drop

I bought my 05 at dealers invoice to the penny, minus $2500 incentive, minus $300 for being a contractor (I have my own business). But the best part was when my wife and I filed our 04 income tax return, I was able to write off 50% of the cost of the truck. The vehicle has to weigh 6000 lbs or more. 2004 may have been the last year one can do this. I ordered and bought my truck at Melloy Dodge in Albuquerque. Grizzly

Oo. Oo. Oo.
