Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Any good South TX standard trans. shops??

In case the rattle I'm hearing is the transmission main shaft, do you all know of a good manual trans. shop down here in South TX??

I have a friend who is in my openion one of the best transmission guys in the state. He does like 5-6 NV's per week along with all of the big truck stuff he does. He lives in Waco but is here in Victoria almost every weekend. Im sure that if the price could be agreed upon and if you could do without it you could drop it off one weekend here and pick it up the next. Just a suggestion. Thanks Dean for the reply. I hope to have it torn back down soon and determine what the problem is. I will keep you in mind if it is a trans. problem.
