just as the title states. I cant seem to figure it out through past threads or google so..... I turn to you guys. Does anyone have a RB1 and has found a interface that connects to it? The sound from my ipod is crap with the cigarette lighter thing.

OK, pardon my ignorance, but what's RB1? I have an 03 Laramie that has the AM/FM/Cassette/single CD unit in the dash. I was told by a car stereo shop that there is an input on the back and for about $150 I could buy a setup to plug in my iPod. I pulled out the head unit to confirm that there was an input and it's a factory connector-type plug opening (10 pins if I remember right) next to the 22 pin connector. (10 pins if I remember right)

I'd like to find the adapter thing cheap, or find what pins I run the wires from the ipod cable to. (no info in the wiring diagram that I could find)

rb1 is a factory navigation unit. I beleive my unit has a 10 pin connector too... . but the only thing i found was like 130 bucks or so. Thats crazy.

I have the same radio as bighammer. I have the jogjam adapter and it works great. I have a splitter on the input so I can either listen to the XM or watch aa movie.
