I didn't think I would ever say it, but check out the f 150 if you want a half ton, I rode in one this weekend and I can tell you the interior is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much nicer than what came on my '06 it was like comparing a chevy cavalier to a Cadillac. unless they have drastically improved the look of the '09s I don't think I would buy a dodge again for this fact alone.

A friend of mine just sold his 2003 Ram 2500 with the Hemi. He really put that truck through the ringer and had absolutely no trouble with the engine in the 130+K he owned it.

I really like all the new features on the '09 1500 ...

and the ride is supposed to be excellent also. I'll have to test drive them all. The deals on the Rams seem too good to pass up.

Easy 12,000 off msrp ...

My friend had no trouble getting 12K off sticker and I've been reading some guys are getting up to 14K or 15K off sticker. I'm sure those are loaded. I'm going figure out what I want and price it before the end of the month.

One of my fellow parrishoners is a mechanic at the local ChryCorp dealer. He says they've had very few issues with the 5. 7L Hemi in cars. Now, I just bought a Chally and he said the LX car chassis (300C/Charger/Chally) has only one real issue, and that was tie rod ends. Said you might get 12K or 80K. Thinks it was a supplier issue. That and a transmission seal leaking.

I can tell you haven't seen the interior on the new Dodge yet. I agree the F150 was sweet last time I looked but in my opion the Dodge is nicer than the Ford. You really owe it to yourself to take a look see. The only nit I have to pic is the paint finish seems a little orange peely.

I don't want to get flamed but I also think the interior on the trucks went downhill sometime after 04.

My stepfather has an 03' dually qc and he just recently bought a 1/2 ton with the Hemi(08') and he loves it. I helped work a deal that got him $18,000 off sticker price and a 55" plasma TV also. Not for the truck of course. They were really dealing in December.
