My Dad is gonna buy a 3rd gen. I might also. Dad is going to put a mild box on his, and if I get a 3rd gen. I want a Kick-Gas chip.

What about trannies? I want a 4wd auto (47re) Does ATS, or DTT have modifications to handle High HP, and torque of these new trucks.

My current truck is running high 14's in the 1/4, and this newer truck needs to be faster.

I'm looking at running a 100+HP chip, Propane (or NOS), bigger turbo, and better injectors. Hurry up guys!! :D (a big lift and BIG tires would be good too :D :D )

Hurry !!

Hey Merrick, if you get one, you HAVE to replicate the stacks you now have  . Then, bring it back in for the first service ( it would be worth it just to see the look in their eyes). Bet ya they hook it up to a scanner to check for a loose nut behind the wheel ;) .

Just got off the phone with...

... Edge products. They are currently working on an E. Z. version. As of now they say +80 h. p. ,but they are still tweaking so maybe more;) . Said it will be a little more involved to remove and install, but it shouldn't be that bad. They said a couple of months,so be patient my friends... Doug

Looking at different dyno charts it seems like the 03 peak horsepower is around 2900 rpm which seems to be the same place the torque starts dropping off. Also it looks to be a few hundred rpm higher then the 2nd gen ETH. Do the 03's redline higher then previous models? What claims do the 03's make as far as fuel mileage? I know when the switch from 12V to 24V was first mentioned they claimed they would be quieter and more economical which wasn't really the case. Is the 03 engine finally an answer to the statements made back in 97-98? They are considerably quieter, but I guess we'll have to wait and see more numbers. The initial mpg numbers I've read do seem to be up don't they?

Oo. Oo. 444hp@±2900 840trq@±2400 with computer adjustments onlyOo. Oo. oh i like that much... it made me kinda giddy. now imagine a bigger turbo, and 5" piping [hey, bigger is better right:D] and injectors. tee hee Oo.

How did they get the power to the ground?

I guess I could e-mail 'em. Probably some protype auto transmission.

I think I'll need a Stage 2 Pro. COMP :D :D :D

Oh, that is gorgeous. I am going nuts waiting for mine to be built.

Oo.

I hope the EGT's weren't off the scale in that run though.

I also wonder if it was an ETC or ETH. . Anyone with connections at DD know?

I got the same impression as nick from your web page

You state "We are working with the injectors... "

Implying that you have no injector app yet...

Then you ( or webmaster) state ...

"We've played with the electronics and this is where we're at... "

Implying that the electronics is where these gains came from...

Followed by some great numbers on the charts.

Looks like your web page writer should write speeches for the DNC!

Not dissapointed, just stickin' up for my old college english teachers who ain't gunna tolerate ungood english...

Would you expect to produce the same results with a standard output. In a different thread the claim is the only difference between the HO and Standard is the electronics.

If you've changed that then the Standard should produce the same numbers? Am I missing something?

I'm thinking I can save money by buying the Standard Output.

I believe the HO has some physical differences too, such as oil cooling of the pistons. There may be others.
