Saturday the 31st , the speed channel had a special on there weekly program "Off-Road", about Dodge trucks. It started out with the Dodge truck dominance in off road racing back in the 70's. Then lepta forward to modern day and the new Rams and there Cummins diesel engines. Gale Banks showed some of the research they are doing with Cummins, and what is to come down the road with diesels. They showed his project truck the "Sidwinder" and how it set a new record ate 223 MPH with a diesel. The truck develops 750+ hp yet drove to the salt flats towing a trailer, un hooked, set the record, and they drove home with trailer in tow. It was amazing how street able the diesel was, and according to Gale, this is just the beginning. I suspect the show will re-air sometime soon, so watch out for it, it was interesting.

I saw a show on the Travel Channel where the host was going through Kuwait and the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

She stopped at a garage where the 'President/CEO' of the UAE had this absolutely HUGE truck. At quick glance... I could have sworn it said 'Dodge' on the grille.

It was pretty much a 4x4 apartment on wheels... . made a US-spec class-8 truck look like a matchbox.

Sorry for the lack of information... . but it was impressive and I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw it.

Matt, there was a write-up about that truck in one of the MOPAR magazines a few years back. If I remember right the guy LOVES Dodges, espeacially the M-37(?) so he had one built, If I remember right it's almost two stories tall, and 30-40 ft long. Best of all it actually moves!

That's got to be it... . and yes, it was freakin' huge and very impressive.

He claims it has the worlds largest tires... but I disagree.

The LeTourneau 'snow-train' had the world's largest tires... and the guy from Bigfoot put a couple of 'em on a Bigfoot monster truck (8?) for exhibitions.
