Any one use light Force lights?

Does any one have Light Force lights on there truck?? I see them on all the big rigs up here in Alaska and wonder if any one has any practical experience??

A friend of mine has them on his big rig. He hauls mail from Int'l in Anchorage up to the Igloo south of Cantwell. He says they are great lights

Well I am going down and getting some soon, if the big rig guys use them and like them they must be good.

There is a usa version of the site and it has a massive list of USA distributors. I bet if you check at any big rig store they would have them. I bought mine at the local peterbuilt shop. The guy behind the counter said these are the best lights they have ever seen, that the company backs the waranty completly and that they work as advertised. I got the medium size ones, 330,000 candle power each, paid 103 per light. I will post pictures and such after I get them installed.

I spoke with a couple of Dalton drivers who said they had problems with the mounts. They ran the bigger lights on washboard road conditions. They did like the adjustability of the beam pattern though.

Did you pay $US or $AU? Due to the favorable exchange rate, I've been ordering woodworking tools from Australia directly via the internet and paying about 60% of what I would have paid from the US distributor, including shipping. Wonder if a similar deal could be arranged with this outfit? I sent an email & will post whatever they respond.

Well I got the lights installed, used a floor switch out of a Ford to turn them on and off. Works great. Here is a pic for you all to look at. The lights have the blue filter on them in the picture and it is day time... ... maybe a night photo when I have time...

Notice the snow... we have had it for over two weeks.

Yup... had snow for over two weeks now. As a matter of fact it is snowing right now... just finished plowing about three inches out of the driveway with the ATV. We will be riding the snow machines soon...
