What are you guys getting out of a 175 pump?

With my stock cam slid forward. Stock injectors. Boost at 28. Timing up around 19. I dynoed at 234/584

Well since then I've got 370's in. 3k gsk in.

I plan on doing delivery valves. Then adding a hot cam plate. Maybe a 14 or 16 scm turbo housing?

Where would this put me?

A #4 plate should put you somewhere around 350-375 HP at the wheels.

And yes, you'll need to pick out your new clutch now. ;)

I'd use the 14 housing. You are to the point where exhaust (muffler) becomes an issue. Use the 181 delivery valves, you can get a good used set from some of the vendors here.

You will need a good plate to really use this stuff but with the miles you have, pull the pump and have it "adjusted". With that many miles, it needs to be rebalanced It will cost a little more than a plate kit but the result is much better.

OK Jeff, You're going to have to deal with that slipping clutch first.

After that?

Mike has around 350 from his 95 with stock pump, delivery valves, gsk, 40 hp injectors, 14 cm housing and ?? plate.

I would start with a #10 plate AFTER the clutch and work from there. Stock plates and governor springs are not a good combo when going for more horsepower.

Catch me if you can

My clutch is an issue right now. May end up pushing that back a few more months. I was hoping for early May. But don't think that will work?

Piers sent me 191 DVs. I can tell I will need them.

For now its one bom at a time. Besides I can burn rubber in 3rd gear. As long as the clutch holds in there.

Oh subtract 61,000 miles off the pump. Its a reman pump in there.

here is what i'm sitting at

i plan on putting 215 injectors and bumping the timing up another degree or so and i am more than happy with the power my pump is the orginal and i run smooth up to about 2800 rpm's then there is a stumble, but i don't require those kind of rpm's any way so it dose not bother me i am sure that my pump needs work but i don't have the funds nor the time
