I am looking at purchasing the FASS 95 gph fuel pump. I have a 2002 stock truck. I will most likely purchase a programmer within a year. Are there any problems that might be caused by the addition of the FASS pump?

i replaced my stock lift pump and additional pusher with a FASS 95gph pusher,i would think the FASS would be fine with whatever box you use... i'm using an Edge EZ with RV275 injectors... . mine works fine... ... ... ..... tom

I don't think it'll cause you any problems but it will let you know if your inj. pump is on its way out. They state in their inst. manual that some trucks may experience hard starting once the FASS system is installed. Thats usually an indicator that the diaphram in the Inj. pump is starting to develope cracks.

only issue i had was the fuel fitting replacement on the pick-up tube of the sending unit in tank as it was rusty and fused to the fitting. i suggest removing or at least lifting the bed high for decent access to the mounting and plumbing locations.

i have been very satisfied with my fass pump and the customer service havent had any trouble with it and i dont think you will

Thanks everyone. Geno's Garage has the FASS 95 gph for around $430. Is it cheaper anywhere else? I will probably order it this afternoon.

go to vulcan diesel performance got mine there like it a lot there is no price diffrence in the 95 and the 150 i got the 150 with just a edge drag comp works great 4 me... .

Vulcan only sells the FASS systems with the smaller filters though (95series), correct? I thought their price was pretty good until I saw it was the smaller series systems.

Installed mine 3 weeks ago... ... ... the only problem was getting connector apart on the top of tank, it is a one hand operation and one of the little tabs was quite stubborn... ... .

The only downside is this pump quite noisy, I wonder if the solid mount to the bed member is part of this?

The pressures are great... . 16 idle... . 14 wot

I paid $409 w/tax (no shipping) at Midwest Performance Diesel (816) 690 0097.

TPerryman,

The only trouble I had when I put my FASS 150 on was using the so-called 'quick connect' on the fuel line from the tank to the pump... DON'T USE IT!!! it's not airtight and you'll just be sucking air through the pump. Had to turn the poor girl over for almost an hour before I got all the air out of the lines and injection pump. Be sure you get a fuel pressure gauge to go along with it. Other than that, it is noisy, but you get used to that.

I have a FASS 95 and it pushes enough fuel to keep my 1. 6 injectors and Smarty\Edge Comp stack well fed. If you get a 150 pump I've been told it won't make more power only more noise unless you have large injectors.

I just put on a FASS 95 and your right Crash&Burn the factory clips on the suction line are a pain in the A**. After fighting with it for over a half hour I took a string and did a slip knot slid it right down the suction line to the end made sure it was around the two clips and pulled it tight . Worked great line slid right off. Having large hands in a tight spot isn't any fun. Worked for me might help out others in the future .
