Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Any Recommended 12v Mechanics in Houston?

I am looking for a good mechanic that knows 12v's. I have talked with several but most of whom I have found specialize in Ford and 24V(computer Controled). When I mention the KDP I get a deer in the headlights look . I know then to keep looking somewhere else. Any help would be appreciated. Any good 12v mechanics in the Houston area?
