Importing a diesel Jeep into the US?

Are there any AR15's left out there in the lower 48? After whats his name got elected, there hasn't been a semi auto rifle or parts for one here to buy, beg, borrow or steal. Can still get pistols, but ammo is in real short supply. Going to buy a XDM tomorrow in a . 45,

Hell just build the darn thing. You can get a lower receiver from a gun show (only part needing a certificate) then there are all kinds of places selling all the parts. Built mine for $600. 00 and took about 15 minutes to assemble lower receiver and the rest went together in about 5 minutes. Just requires regular tools if you buy the barrel assembly complete (the most expensive part) Got a 22" chromed barrel assembly with A-2 stlye with sights for $300. 00. PM me if you want the information for all the mail order stuff. These guys I used supply for the military so you are getting the same stuff they get other than they don't supply the automatic version (but they doo have the parts available if you have a FFL)

One I have shoots groups of 1" at 300 yards. My son is a sniper and can do wonders with this weapon. shot a 2" branch off an oak tree with 4 shots!! I wish I had that kind of control... Guess I am becoming too much of an old fart!

lowers at the gun shows are even up i price. a friend just bought a DPMS lower for almost $300, and thats was a good price from what i understand

a lower for 300 isn't to bad. Bushmaster sells their lower with everything in it for 300 and stripped for about 200. Or used to I should say. But, you can't even get any of those here. I've had to settle on getting pistols instead.

maybe now is the time to get rid of my Remington (742) jamomatic

I know the feeling. I am very familiar with the problems of the 742. I don't own one and I sure wouldn't hunt with one, even if it was given to me. Sell that sucker.

We knew this was going to happen that is, prices on the black rifles going up. I have 3 Colt's and 1 RRA's waiting for me up in Oregon when I retire. I can't be trusted with them in California.

I just found out that a pre-ban Polytech AK762 with sidefold stock is worth $1900! At least that's the price one of the sites was asking. They are a true AK, feed 'em & shoot 'em, but the price of 7. 62x39 is through the roof too. #@$%!

You can find complete firearms around. Not any lowers buy them selves. I was academy a couple days ago and they had s & w m & p without a mag. in the nato round of 5. 49 x39(That maynot be correct but close. ) for the price of $830. 00

I sell LMT Rock river and DPMS right now.

I could work you up a GOOD price, but the wait will be very long.

I ordered some parts from Brownells in November, they just showed up the other day. #@$%!

I understand that LMT is working off a 20+ week backlog as of about 3 weeks ago.

I have 3 LMT uppers on order as of about a month ago. Still havent heard anything.

My BIL owns and runs his own gunshop. I will pick it up later this spring, but we just got an AK and 1000 rounds ammo for $800. Was this a good price? We really didn't care what the price was, we just wanted to get something before it was too late.

that was a bare lower nothing on it. no one listen to me when i said to buy them six months ago, could have save a bunch of cash. ohh well

stripped AR lowers were are in shotgun news all the time.

One guy advertises them for $79. 00 or $89. 00.

I think that was Gunsmoke in Florida.

Of course that's before shipping and whatever your FFL wants to do the paperwork.

$800 for an AK. It depends on what brand. If it's one of those Century arms jobs, I'll pass.

I have an Arsenal AK. Milled reciever, Steyr hammer forged barrel. Oo. Oo.

It was more than $800 several years ago.

IIRC Arsenal halted all the milled recievers in favor of the stamped ones, so it may be worth a little more now.

The ammo sweetens the deal if it's of good quality. I've had one FTF out of many rounds of Wolf put down range with the AK and SKS's.

I have no idea what brand the ammo is. We just told him to get us a rifle and a case of ammo. We are in AZ, and he is in KS. I am taking vacation this spring and will road trip home to visit the folks and pick up the goodies. There is no place here I would trust to have it shipped to me. I would rather pick it up in person.

I was at a gun show just outside of Detroit the ar's and AK’s are selling like hotcakes. The $800 AK’s were Romanian nothing special. Nothing like yours, I handled a couple of Arsena's at the shot show they are bad *** sounds like you got yourself a nice AK

Knob creek is on the list of things to do for me not this year though. The shot show was awesome if you can get a chance to go you should, it's in Vegas next year. They say its bigger and better then Orlando's.
