I am looking for someone in the Bellevue Washington area that has a 2003-2009 Third gen truck that would be willing to have their front seats pulled so this company could pattern and produce seat brackets to accommodate custom seats. Here is the outfit. http://www.plantedtechnology.com/
They look real professional. I am looking into using Knoedler truck air ride seats for my 2007 and Jeff Reiss, the owner of Planted Seat says he can produce the seat mount brackets if he has a vehicle to pattern them off of.
Here is the seat manufacturer. http://knoedler.com/products/air-chief-std-and-low-rider-with-probax/

Michael, I appreciate the offer. I may or may not need anyone to go there as I have contacted a seat manufacturer about some rails. I would suggest that if you ever wanted to have air seats for your truck that Planted Technology, for your troubles, and for him to have a pattern to build frames, would give you a set for your troubles. I'd ask for that kind of deal if I went there and let him pattern off of my truck. He DOES ask for different models of cars and trucks to pattern off of. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for your offer. Chris

I owe you some pictures. Going to do a new seat install thread but here are a few showing how the adapter plates are made..

First two pictures are the passenger side, last is driver side.

I did vacuum up the grandkids crumbs from the D.C. Trip before the install because somebody is bound to bring that up....:D:-laf

And the coffee stain where the DW lost her grip on a DD coffee on a rough road.....

That is hilarious Mike!!! I'm looking at your pictures thinking about the crumbs!!!:-laf Thank you for sharing the pictures. Are you going to show us pictures after all is said and done? I am real curious how the install and final look will be.

Yes, I'll do a complete new thread regarding the install including tearing the brand new seats apart to install the heating pads.....:{#@$%!

Time is not on my side this week as we have an open house on Friday so a bit nuts here right now.

Also all pictures are on my phone which slows the process so will import everything into my PC which will speed things up dramatically...

Thanks Mike! I looked up the center console brackets and they are nice. It will be nice to see your finished job. Probably won't have the coffee spills anymore on the rough roads

This is kind of a sneak preview as my install is not completed yet... but two areas to watch if you go with the Knoedler seat are the seat belt retractor bulges and the taper of the cab. Seats will have to have the same width and taper or there will be clearance issues.

Seat is fully down so when raised 4" it is going to be close to the pillar...I'll get a picture when I get the air connected..
