Hi. I was looking at those new trucks with the 6.4 Hemi and 66 RFE auto transmission and 4x4, short bed.
A good friend of mine needs a new truck and asked me what I knew of them. I've only read magazine publications, so nothing personal.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these trucks? How is this new engine? What about the transmission, transfer case, front end, front and rear coil suspension?
Will this front end have the typical fron end issue I have read about on these forums related to the 4WD front set up as 2 and the 3 Gen?
Long term, will it be reliable truck? He is also considering the Tundra, as that is proven, very reliable truck, but a half ton.
Any info is really appreciated!

The second link Nick posted is my truck. It will be a year old next month. Unfortunately, I have not had time to get away to go to the dunes, or other riding areas that would have given me some decent towing feedback. My daily commute is only a couple miles, so lots and lots of short trip usage, thus fuel mileage is pretty bad, but I knew that going in, and the short trips were one of the deciding factors to go gas instead of diesel this time. Overall, I am pleased with the truck. I have not had any issues that led me back to the dealer. I do have an exhaust rattle that I can't track down, and I think may well be the muffler itself. I also have a squeak in the dash that I can't find. Nothing terrible. What little towing I have done, it did OK. It is no Cummins, so let's get that out of the way! The 6.4 just doesn't feel as stout as the numbers would lead you to believe. Why? I don't know. I have a feeling it is a mis-match with the trans gearing/torque converter and shift strategy. Other than that, the rest is nit picking stuff, like who on Earth put the Tow/Haul button waaaaay over there on the center stack so I have to look down to see it?!!!

I made this report on the wife's 2015. https://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/252778-Towing-and-camping-with-the-6-4-Hemi

Truck now has about 13k miles and we've had no issues at all with the truck. I did have to change the flat bed lights to LED's so the computer would'd get all tangled up and shut the running lights off due to excessive amperage demands from the incandescent bulbs.

Fuel mileage towing is around 11.5, running around home bobtail;15 to 18mpg (we live in the country, very little town driving). We did spend a week in Nashville Tn last fall and city mileage was 12 to 14 mpg.

I'd buy another with no regrets.

I test drove a 2015, hemi, 4x4 w/spring suspension 2500 that rode so rough I could not see myself putting up with that every day.

So I test drove and than ordered a 2015, diesel, 4x4 with factory rear air bags and love every day behind the wheel.:)
