Throw Away Diesels.... THANK YOU CUMMINS!

i got a buddy pullin a 1066 in the 10000 Farm stock class and weve got one deere just slightly ahead of us, and weve got about 2 weeks before the next pull and would like to get the edge on him. so far the mods hes done is added a 11mm rotary pump, and a dt 466 turbo, and might have his hands on a set of injectors not sure yet. if anyone would have any suggestions on what we might be able to do any help would be appreciated.

I M Looking For A Antique Pulling Tractor , Looking To Trade Or Sell My 2003 Ski-doo Mach Z 800 Triple With Alot Of Extra's If You Can Pass The Word , I Want A Antique Tractor That I Can Pull In The 3500 - 5000 Lb Class

Go to a inline bosch pump. Just like a VP-44 it is limited on how much it can flow. Also talk to hypermax or Schieds. Hey where are you from, it doesn't say in your sig. Oh by the way Deere's rule!! :) :)

well he would like to have an inline pump but the tractor is sposed to appear stock because the 1066 came stock with the rotary pump thats why he went with the 11mm rotary. i am from Harbor Beach, MI but i am goin to college to be a diesel tech in Lima, OH so im only up on weekends.

Tell Sarge I said "Hi" and yes I have been pulling for as long as I can recall. You'll have have your work cut out for you against the Deere brand. Good luck at the pulls.

Well I understand it needing to appear stock. What pulls do you guys typically pull at? We pull in S. E. Michigan and northern Ohio in the farm stock class with a 5010. We occasionally go to the west side of the state. I do know there are a couple of I. H. guys running inline pumps on there 1066's and they pull farm stock with us. But I guess it depends on what rules are in place. We are pretty leaneant on the rules for farm "stock" in that regards. Let me know how you do and maybe we can meet up some day at a pull. :)

well we pull in in the thumb with under TTPA. the next pull is in bad axe at the huron county fair this friday. I believe the next pull that has 10000 and 13000 farm is harbor beach on the 18th.

I am pulling a 1066. 466, ported polished, roller cam, big pump injectors and turbo. Make sure to set your timing to 20 degrees BTDC. If you want you can install a electric fuel pump between the tank and the fuel filter to help with fuel flow issues, I have installed twin carter pumps to fuel mine, one from the normal fuel outlet in the tank and the other in the fuel drain, I have plumbed them together by drilling out the fuel bleed screw in the pprimary fuel filter and feeding the 2nd pump into it. I got my injectors and a 13mm pump. from Roger at Diesel Injection Service in Sun Prarie Wisconsin. He has helped me with power issues quite a bit. If you are still running the Air Research T-04 get a Garret 3-LM 466 to replace itpart # 193876. Should be able to get one under $425. The 3-LM really wakes up the 400 series binder engine. You should not have mutch trouble with any Deere that is running as stock as you are. Just remember, It often gets down to whoever spends the most money wins the most. If you need any more info send a PM and I will give you my ph#.
