I've replied already. Go up a few posts. I was more than pleased with it's performance.

Out of the 15,000 TDR members, I'd say the number with cams is less than 1%.

Cams are for the insane bunch. I guess I fall into that category, too. But they do make it more interesting.

Yea... . Thanks Fred,

I was targeting other members with the DD cam who hasn't chimed in yet. I like to get as much input as possible before making any purchase decisions.

not all marine cams have the long bolt and press on gear . . some have just a press on gear. My marine engine has a press on gear

the part # on the gear is # 3907431 i even had my parts guy in alabama look it up and thats the # he also found in his parts book for a marine b series with a press on gear. . it was a new one for him, he didn't even believe it until he looked it up. . strange. . any how hufnpuf where i you get your block girdle? i'm interested in one for my marine engine. . it going to get rebuilt so i might as well go all out. .

thanks

Deo

I know you said your looking for DD cam owners, BUT I have the PDR cam in and have for about a year and around 25,000mi. I posted at the time if I could find a down side I would post it I'm still looking for that:p I can tell you I won't give it up. I lost EGT's all around, spool up is quicker, milage gain 1-2, I did lose a little smoke but that can be made up for:D I've towed, drag raced, dynoed, and just driven with the cam still no down side.

Yes I can say for a fact the PDR cam cleaned up Jason's exhaust emissions significantly. Now when he dynos you can almost see clear across the dyno bay  :p :p
