Any way to clear code P0088?

Is there any national repair chain or other avenue to have a code cleared without going to the Dodge dealers?

P0088: fuel rail pressure signal is above max limit.



How did you manage to do this? Anyway, to clear it you have 2 options that I know of.



1. Disconnect both batteries for at least 30 minutes.

2. The code will clear itself after 40 consecutive warmup cycles.

Thanks for the info, I finally found it in the manual about 1:00 am this morning. I set the code on startup while trying a VA box on my truck that wouldn't work on an '04. 5 even though it was a C3. The box must have been bad from the factory is all we can figure. I'm probably going to order a new box from Janetty for mine.

To answer your question, Autozone will fire up their scanner for you. Its illegal for them to clear a code for you, but they tell you what button to push and you can clear the codes that way. Some of the engine code servers in the CDT will not even responde to the clear signal until there have been 2 ignition cycles
