I'm curious as to what it sounds like. I'm enjoying the quiet for now, but that's been known to change.

All I'm talking about is removing the muffler and leaving the EPA garbage in place.

If you remove yours please come back and post to tell us if you notice any difference. A few months ago a fellow TDR member with a new 6. 7 removed his on the first day he owned it and reported to the TDR membership that it wasn't worth the cost of the work. The catalytic converter/dpf apparently silences the exhaust even without the muffler.



I enjoyed the sound of my '06 5. 9 without muffler but it didn't have as much emission control crap as the new one does.
