Brother/Dog problem--Gotta vent....

You know years ago, I was a huge Minn Viking Fan - early 70's..... have loved the Packers and the BALTIMORE Colts under Johnny U..... but as I have frown older - while I love sports - somehow the VIM has left me for the NFL. I never had it for BBall and Baseball, while I played on an All Star Team with Sparky Lyle as our Pitcher, and I loved the Pirates in the Early 60's... . I find that now I can really leave it... I mean I use to make my Monday Night plans around the Game and on Sunday I never missed the key games... ... The past few Years, I watch the Playoffs AND usually am almost clueless about the newer Stars.

Anybody else going through such a thing?????

We've been pretty lucky here in the Pittsburgh area to have the Steelers and Pens playing they way they have the last couple of years. I'll admit that I still get pretty excited come playoff time. But, I certainly don't watch every game anymore.

My real love has always been baseball. Unfortunately, since the Pirates are pretty much the laughing stock of baseball, it's hard to even watch a game. Their latest fire sale has left the team with exactly 2 starting players who were on the opening day roster. It's pretty hard to get excited by a team when the faces change so often.
