I am wondering if there is any advantage to using a product known as "FPPF 8+ Cetane Improver". I have been using Stanadyne regularly for the obvious reasons but was told that this FPPF product is good to use in the summer time for more power. I tow a 7500# fifth wheel in the summer.

Any experience out there or words of wisdom??

I know I am looking for power in all the wrong places but I am not ready to BOMB yet.

I have used the Amsoil Cetane Boost Fuel Additive and Diesel Fuel Additive Concentrate. Did not see much of a increase in mpg if any, sounded a little quiter and cut down on the smoke, engine was more quicker. I had been using it for about 5 yrs. But now I'm trying Duralt http://ww.buyduralt.com/ I use to use this stuff back when I had my Harley. I don't notice any difference in the sound compared to Amsoil but I'm seeing more of a increase in mpg. I see more of a increase in mpg in my cars using Duralt. Amsoil additives or good. Check it out and you decide.
