Anybody in the Central-Gulfcoast of Florida

Hey bud, I am out of Lakeland and we had a meet last June. We met at the Cummins shop in Ocala. I havent heard from the guys who set the last one up and dont really have a way to get ahold of them. I think those guys were from the other Cummins website. Just keep an eye out, hopefully they can get something set up soon.

I'm here in Ocala. I haven't heard from Dick Floyd in quite a while. He was the chapter head and for alittle while I was helping to coordinate meetings... but I didn;t have time to really continue doing it.



I wouldn't mind setting up more 'cruise in' style meetings. We were running out of ideas on where to have them when they were planned (IE the dealers, or the cummins shops) as we tried to do them in a different place each time.



But if we just cruised to a Steak'n'shake or hooters etc and just whoever showed up shot the bull and had some food that'd be nice I think.

Well... what's the most central 'town' for those of us who would come? I know many of you are south of Orlando and some in Tampa. There's a couple of us here in Ocala and I think 1 or more in Gainseville. Somewhere in Clermont?? Just shooting out ideas.

Hey anybody up to getting this thing rolling ?

Seems like Clermont is going to be about central.

Just passed thru there last weekend, seems like alot of places to gather.

Anybody in that area with a suggestion ?

Clermont is good for me LOTS of places on 50 east right there at 50 & 27. Pick one, pick a time and date, throw it out and let us see if it works. Might be tweaked a little but at least it is a start.

Gotta be someone in that area... ??? It's been a few years at least since I've been on SR-50 in Clermont so I am clueless as to what's there any more.

Just drove thru last Saturday.

They got a New A&W drive in style, would that work for everyone ?

Is a week night or weekend better for everyone ?

Thinking maybe Sat. or Sun. late afternoon ? 5-7 pm ?

I teach wed nights 1830 - 2130.



ANY other night is fine, weekday night, weekend night, weekend day.



I would like 2 weeks notice if possible as we have an elderly dad we need to see at least every two weeks to check on and shop for etc.
