I am looking for more light in reverse, but not interested in the Geno's product, White Knight I think it's called. Anybody have pics with lights installed or recommend a certain light? Thanks for any help!

Don't have pictures of mine in my readers gallery, but I just made up a metal bracket ("U" shaped) and welded them to the trailer hitch bracket. The bracket around the lights protects them from being hit by objects and breaking the lights. I bought the lights (55W) from an auto parts store. I ran a power lead from the battery, with a relay switch. The relay switch allows them to come on automatically when I put it in reverse (the trigger comes off the reverse sensing wire from the transmission) or I can turn them on manually or turn them off so they don't come on at all. This is done with a single pole double throw switch mounted on the knee panel just below and left of the steering wheel. Works like a charm... ;)

RJOL,

Do you happen to have any pictures you can post of your reverse lights?

I don't have any pictures of this mod. When I get back in town, next week, maybe I'll take a couple and post them. It's pretty simple, especially if you weld or know someone who does... ;)

I can remember if the guy posted it here or on DTR, but sometime last year someone posted and gave a link to a website with a whole write up on how he did his.

It was a 2nd Gen Dodge, and he removed his left rear tail light and tapped the reverse wire there and ran it to a relay he mounted in behind the housing for the lights below.

I will be following that route soon because its really hard for me as I have dark windwo tint. :cool: :-laf

I don't have pictures of the white but here is one of the amber I just sold sold several pairs of LED backup lights spendy but you don't have to run anything to the battery considering that both lights draw only a 1/2 amp and are very bright not as blinding as Halogen but very bright to see by.

dixie I have some lights that I instaled in the factory bumper. I used a plasma cutter to do this. I can email you a picture or two. . I cant figure out how to get pictures posted here.

hey those look good, I just got these replacments for that style that are pretty cool looking and BRIGHT! I just don't know if I could take a plasma cutter to my bumper, not that good at that stuff :{
