I put bigger tires on my truck. 315/70/17's and it threw my speedometer off by about 5mph. Looking for someone that has a smarty that would recalibrate my speedo for me. I will travel aways to get this done. I am in the south east corner of SD.

Thanks

PS. The tires are awesome. Bridgestone revo II deulers. No lift needed. :-laf

Nice looking truck. I am east of Vermillion. Can't help tho w/ the Smarty. I went old school and bought a 96 with a 12 v. Happy Trails!

if you drop by a dealership they usually take care of you, it takes about a minute, a lot of times they do it for free. One thing that you might want to consider is leaving it that way and just remember that your speedometer is off. The reason for this is that not only does your speedometer go slower, but also the odometer goes slower so you will put less miles on it which will help you with your resale value later.

I did talk to the dealer. They said it would be at least $50 and couldn't be sure they could get it accurate only "close. " It would help cut down on miles but makes it hard to figure maintenence. Have to think about that.
