Anybody paying $5/gal yet ? Im hearing at least $4 for gas. It seems like diesel can be as much as a buck more than gas now.

Tell me more about this $0. 10/gallon discount, the most I get is $0. 05/gallon for gas, automotive, groceries, restraunt through Chase.

For every dollar you (or wife) spends at Frys (part of the Kroger chain) using the Frys card, you get 1 point. 100 points will get you $0. 10 / gallon discount on 10 gallons of fuel (gas or diesel). For me, it takes about 300 points to get the discount on a tank of fuel. It's nothting to get too excited about. When it's all done, I've saved $3 on $120 worth of fuel, but $3 is $3. Fry's also has the cheapest diesel anywhere around here, and since the tanks were installed less than 2 years ago, I have confidence that the fuel is good, which comes from Flying J BTW.

I don't know what i'm paying here in Vegas, I buy B20 with a fuel card at Haycock and there is no price on the pumps just gallons and I get billed later but I have them on an auto pay through my bank so sometimes I have a credit unless i'm filling up my 100 gallon tank:-laf. I find out how much the fuel was once the bill comes in. I heard there was a way to find the price at the time of fill up by swipping the card after fill up but I haven't tried it.

Well I guess it's close enough. I see $4. 99 for ULSD at a Mobil station in Manhattan. What's worse is that I see takers!

Just jumped 11 cents here today from 4. 04 to 4. 15 a gal. about Biggest one day jump Ive seen so far.
