Anybody put Sport taillights on there regular Ram?

Just wondering if anybody had ordered the Sport taillight assemblies that are painted the same as the truck and how close the paint match was? And what do they cost. I was considering doing it, but is that something i need to have the body shop paint?, or does DC sell them ready to go?

I haven't seen any after market lights that are painted. Most of them have black trim like the originals.



My friend recently installed a set that were painted to match his truck. Looks good. He knew somebody that had a paint gun that did it for him. There's not that much area so it's not real critical. The paint match looks good too.

I have used Sport Taillights on all my regular rams. They are the same lights, just with a smooth / painted trim ring around it. You order them from the dealer in your body color (as long as they made sports in that color for your year). hen just switch them out.

I went to a local Wesco auto paint store and got everthing I needed for about $30. 00. If I knew how to post a picture I could show you how it turned out.

I am guessing you need the paint code, not just the the name of the color, right? I have to order a center cap from the online Dodge parts place and figured id order the taillights too.
