I've contemplated the idea... My wife can't drive a manual and I've worked on it with her several times... I don't really want to go spend the $$$ for a new truck though either.

tow alot, like the idea of being able to control the truck more... shoulda held out longer for a 6 spd when i was shopping but what can ya do. if anyone is serious i know a place that would do the swap... .

I'm going to swap out my 5600 for an auto. 65k miles on the 5600. No sled pull, drag race or other abuse. If you decide to go with a 5600 mine is for sale. Comes with flywheel and SB FE with ball bearing pilot(8k on clutch). I have to use an rh so the re doesn't interest me.
