My son has that size on his 99. The BFG All Terrian. He has had no problems with them rubbing. This is his second set.

295's

Have 44K on a set of 295 BFG AT's on a 00 4X4; no rubbing on or off road with stock or T-Rex/KORE suspension on stock 8" wheels. Great tire on/off road (except mud), wears well, low noise, solid weight rating etc.

How bad is the wear on the Toyo's. Any thoughts on treadlife? Thay are quite a bit less than the BFG's. Only other brand I found was the Nitto's (and they look very similar to the Toyo's).

My experience was slightly different - I got minor rubbing with the 295's, but none when I dropped to 285's on a later set of BFG-AT's. However, overall I liked the 295's better, so I'll probably go back to that in the future. The rubbing was only with steering wheel at full lock, either left or right. Got about 60,000 out of a set, would have done better if I had watched the balance and rotated a bit more.
