I'm tired of waiting to see what the juice will be like and I'm thinking about the TST, but have been worried about the past stories of blowing turbo's and codes.

Have most all the code issues been solved?

I haven't heard of anymore people grenading turbo's with the box either. Anyone know what the problem with blowing turbo's was? Too much boost? Turbo bark? Running on too high a level?

I plan to keep the settings down as I have a stock auto, and only an intake and exhaust for mods, and I don't want to hurt anything on the engine, but want a little more power.

Go for it.

The TST has been great on my truck.

I would just suggest to use your head and everything will be fine.

I have ran mine on 6x6 while sled pulling with no issues.

This box is totally drivable on higher settings.

I had early issues with my tst causing a delayed pilot injection. Sent it back for a reflash and box works without any issues. I usually run my box on 5 5 and lower. Box definately makes alot of power. Just use it smartly and you wont have any problems.

Go for it!

Great box! I haven't had a code for 3 weeks. Moved the ground inside the cab to the dash skeleton. Haven't even seen the p0606 code. Now that I have said that I probably will. I've run her hard at all settings and no turbo problems as of yet. Just dragging at the local strip. Thinking of doing some pulling in terra haute. I'll see if I have the tires then. Good luck! Lee.

No problems with mine either... the box ROCKS! Just keep the settings low enough to A) not slip your transmission and B) not overspeed/overboost your turbo and you'll be fine. They seem to have all the code issues worked out now, so go for it!

had mine in for about 2 weeks. i run it mostly on 2,2 for daily driving. it did throw the 336 & 606 codes once when on 2,2 and once when on 4,3, but it cleared itself after 5 restarts. absolutely no driveability issues. occasionally it cranks longer before it starts, but i found if i leave the key on for about 5 seconds before cranking, it is no problem.

can't imagine being without it!

I'm actually in the same boat. I have an auto, I don't tow, but do like to have fun at high(er) speeds :) . If I go with more power (TST), I know ideally I would upgrade the transmission and the turbo. If I had to do one first before getting this box, transmission or turbo, which would the community recommend?

Had mine for a month and love it. I keep the torque setting no higher than 3 and the pwr from 3- 7. great pwr and have yet to have pwr stroke keep up. Haven't found dmax's lunch to eat yet. Increased fuel milage both towning and empty. Only one code so far and i think that was caused by my driving. Also it is great for when people are riding you bumper. 7/3 leaves a nice stream of coal when you punch and they get the idea.

ZerOhmZ,

I would to the trans first, The turbo stuff hasent been figuered out yet. The problem isnt the turbo, we do need more air but that is not the whole problem on are EGT problem. I have a new B1-04 coming to try this weekend to see how much more it helps.

No issues with mine... have played with alot of settings. Tend to keep it 5-5 now. Once my turbo gets install and new clutch i will bump it up to see what it is like. I also added the air dog to bump up the fuel.
