Anyone added an intercooler to your 89-90?

How'd you get the AC condensor out far enough to fit in the intercooler? Looks like the lines will interfere with the radiator housing. Is it holesaw and die grinder time? Can I shift the AC condensor about a half inch toward the passenger side?

I was just looking at installation instructions for the banks intercooler kit at www.dieselpage.com. They say it goes in front of the ac and to replace the grill.

Thanks, but I've got a factory intercooler, and it's inlet and outlet won't clear the AC condensor. However, they will clear the radiator, so I've got to sandwich it - no choice.
