I have a 92 D250 that I have done some mods too. But would like to know if anyone is around here that has done some of these mods. I have a K&N filter, BD 3 1/2 exhaust, Autometer Pryo and Boost Gauges plus tach. . Would like to turn the pump up and put the POD injectors in.

I pull a 20' stock trailer loaded and would like to see more power, plus turn some heads on the street.

P. S. the diesel shop here just wants me to buy a new pump and some injectors he Carry's. Does't want to order or install the POD injectors if I get them.

I am not anywhere near Tuson so can't help for that reason but suggest that you read the stickys at the top of the first gen forum on performance and VE pump mods. Also, my trucks are box stock so can't offer advise there. BUT, after you read the stickys, post specific questions and I will bet you hear from Daniel or Jay and a whole bunch more. There is a lot you can do yourself.

I'm on the NW side of Tucson but don't have much experience with these things, either. All I've done so far is some minor "tweaks" on the pump - new injectors and an Old Smokey fuel pin are on the list when the funds allow... . whenver that may be. ;)

Which shop did you go to? Desert Diesel does good work, but I don't know what kind of injectors they carry (probably BD, based on the literature they have in the waiting room). Most shops don't like using customer-supplied parts because they don't make any money off of them, and if there is a problem with the part it becomes a big hassle to get everything corrected - for them and the customer.
