Competition Rhonda's all time best

Competition DHRA Division 2 Round 5 at Steele, Ala on Aug 21

Does anyone know any details about what happend, Who did what?

I read that there was a stout D-max there that made 742hp. anyone else have any input?

I got to dyno my truck, it went

443. 9 hp

860. 3 torque

Then I saw a couple stock 2nd generation trucks dyno, then I stood about 5' away when they dynoed that duramax, 742hp, 1445 torque. Pretty impressive. I asked the guy his best 1\4 mile time and he told me it was in the low 13's, he said he had a hard time hooking up. (2 wheel drive truck) I had a 5 hour ride home so I missed the drag truck but I heard made 664 on # 2 only.

John

John you did a good job. Especially since the air quality was really not good for #2 only runs. Everything that went up Saturday that goes up regularly was down on power.

Brandon's ol Dmax rocks doesn't it?

I'm glad we had a bunch of new faces there. I actually had some time to walk around and BS with folks which was fun.

How about that stock 600 that made 285/540? STOCK!!! Impressed the crap out of me. Oo.

David, I had a great time on Saturday meeting real people instead of user names. I met a nice bunch of folks at the Garmons shop, I wished I would have stayed around long enough to see the race truck on the dyno,( The food was outstanding by the way) but the 5 hour trip there and the 5 hour trip home was a little much on the old mans back. I'm trying to talk the wife into a weekend in Atlanta for ya'lls upcoming racing, wish me luck

Good luck John... ..... The drag race in Commerce will really be a riot. 4 trucks there will be in the low 11's and maybe one, Dennis, in the high tens. I don't know, maybe 3 in the high tens. And I hope Jeff in the high nines. Me you ask and my 3500? 15. 47 but it tows my fiver just fine, thank you.

And Brandon's Max? 505 for sure then he, dad gumit, just had to spray for the 742. I guess it's winter all the time now.
