Everything is still in one piece apparently. I only tried greater than 4 on TST once just to see what was up and how much smoke it would make. Lately I've settled on 4/4 on the TST. Ran 1 tank with EZ on 1 and now I am doing a tank with EZ on 2. I don't really abuse the clutch too much though or anything else for that matter. Disclaimer: your mileage may vary.
Oh yeah... SBC is working on a clutch and about a month ago somebody posted on here that they were looking for test trucks. Supposedly the kit will replace the DM flywheel. I want my clutch to last at least as long as that comes out. Then all I'll have to worry about is the plastic gears and generally poor German engineering
I'm going to be the test truck if Peter gets back to me in time. I've been trying to contact him for nearly two weeks now. It should be quite some time before it's out on the market, though.
What! plastic gears in the new G56!! They have to be crazy to do something like that! These transmissions won't last a year or a week, if there are plastic gears! What the heck were they thinking!!!
Man, Its gonna be a long time till I buy another new Dodge ... and I'm starting to get the "new truck fevor". I hate to say it but the GMC 5500 crewcab 4X4 are looking pretty good (man I can't believe I'm saying this).
I was on a trail run w/ some other Jeep guys yesterday when the conversation turned to tow rigs... . I had to bite my tongue so hard and keep from laughing when one of them was talking about how good the 6. 0 was... . being that it is made by International. This was then followed by how crappy the Dodges were... Some people just can't be edjumikated. :-D
