Not sure what exactly you're inquiring about, be it the newer ones, or ANY CTD Ram, but my early91 is closing in on 300K- ~292K now. I have had to replace the head gasket (90 engine- not as strong as the marine HGs of 91. 5 and up), turbo, (p. o. cranked on the pump at high altitude, towing, with no pyro), and a few other odds and ends. I got new injectors when I did the head gasket- one needed a new tip, so all 6 were going to need new tips. The new tires I bought last month put me over the $5K mark, including purchase. All 6 cylinders still had the cross hatches at 255K when I did the head gasket.

I know a guy in Poplar Bluff that has close to 600K on his 1990; original everything except clutch and head gasket. He delivers Detroit and Cummins engines all over the place.

I am trying to see what the 3rd gen trucks are doing as the miles get up there. Thinking of buying one to put to work running trailers. Its either a Dodge 3500 or a 4500/5500 Duramax, the 2 year bumper to bumper unlimited mile warranty of the d-max is tempting. Since in this industry 400k in 2 years is possible. I am currently running an average of 16k a month.

I got 400 miles on my 2004 so far. It just sits In the garage and I wax It about once a week. I just put fiberglass running boards on today. A new camper top next week. It all black dually. Its a good thing It got two batterys because of the amount of lights I am putting on It. I am going to have more light then a Christmas tree.

381,798 so far, I don't know if I would go DMax or not hauling the trailers, used to haul to Alaska etc. ,, hauled campers from Indiana.

Replaced Headgasket once, replaced rear differential once, fixed dowel pin once, replaced starter contacts once, batteries a few times, when I hauled to Alaska in winter left truck running for about 1. 5 weeks, just shut down to check oil. Have 90 gallon tank in bed that truck runs on, extra fuel filter before lift pump, frame mounted.

Traded my 01 in at 433,000. I only have 51,000 on my 04. 5 as of today, but Ive only had it since June. She's made 3 trips to Wyoming, 3 trips to New Mexico, 1 trip to Sheboygan Falls Wisconson, 1 trip to Havensville Kansas, and I'll be trecking up to ColdWater Michigan hopefully before the weekend. check back with me in May and she'll be rolling 100,000.

It went to the dealer the day after I bought her. Some codes popped up and the dealer cleared them. Still no problems.

She pulls a 8,300 lb (empty) 36ft. gooseneck a 16ft gn, and a 16ft stock trailer. I would not consider ever buying anything without a cummins in it.

I will go over 170,000 miles this week. I have a buddy that works at the same place I do that runs flatbed, I pull a trailer, he has over 116,000 miles and his truck isn't a year old yet. I believe he got it on Dec. 5 last year. He is running completely stock while I have a few things added to mine. I know there are people with more miles than I have, I believe yogibear is probably over 200k by now and there are probably even more.

Geeeezzz! The man is asking about 300,000 mile 3rd Genzzz. guys. Not 20k, nor 2k, 1990's, 1996's, etc. 300,000 mile 3rd Genzzz.

No EB, just have 190K, was down about 5 weeks with pneumonia or I would have. Made 1st trip with trk. Dec. 27th 2002, so should make 200K by its 2nd birthday. Its running better all the time. :)

I have several of them I'm servicing anywhere from 175,000 to 285,000 miles.

Brakes have been lasting on these trucks about 150,000-175,000 miles towing trailers all over the USA. Have seen injector issues leaking on 2 of these trucks, one started at 190,000 the other at 240,000. Both of these trucks have chips on them raising rail pressures significantly. Another truck that was chipped engine failed due to leaking injector. Melted piston, took out turbo from piston debris, and sunk valves into head 1/4 inch. Have done balljoints on 2 of these trucks anywhere from 170,000 to 190,000 miles.

thier is a atest truck ( i am assuming out of jwilliams plant maybe he has drive it white 2500 maybe? see it every friday pulling one of them wind resistant drags going south on 75 just north of lexington. That thing has got to have some miles on it :--)

Haven't replaced the brakes yet on mine, have replaced the main fuel pressure pump, and am on the third power steering pump. The rear end has whinned since it was new so I don't really consider it a problem at this point. Really to this point, a fairly maintance free truck considering what I do with it. It pulls a pretty fair sized trailer nearly every day with pretty good loads on it. My picture gallery shows some of the loads I pull.

I drove an '03 with 276,000 on it. It was a bank repo, so I don't know what, if any, problems it had previously. It was a 3500 quad cab, 4x4, dually. Still ran like a top.

276K that has got to be the record for 3rd Gen. Was it an H. O. 305 engine?

I just can't imagine that there would be a 3rd Gen with 300K yet... I was surprised to see some with 100K this summer on eBay. I've got 314K on my oldest 89 Jeep Cherokee and it still has the original 4. 0 Inline 6... something about those Inline engines I guess.
