Okay, been reading all the old threads on tires. Pretty much have my choices narrowed down now. Just want to know if anyone has changed their recommendation since they last posted. Want to make sure no one is going to go "omg, they started off great now they suck, forget what I said earlier" or anything like that.

Well, what choices are you looking at??

Nope, same thoughts here. Going to be replacing my Michelin LTX/ MS's on the dually with another set pretty soon. Going to have 102k on this set when I get back from Oklahoma Saturday morning. Guess I better hit the road here right quick!!:D

I have 35k on my michelins. One shows the belts, two I have to air up weekly and all have little tread left. I won't get michelins again. Looking at the Bridgestone Revo's. Toyo Open Country. The Goodyear Silent Armor. Was gonna think about the BFG ATs but everyone i know has those, I need something different.

I have run Michelins on several vehicles and have never had that happen. Which tire (model) are they?

56,000 miles on my old Pro Comp A/T's

50,000 mile warranty. I like them better than the BFG A/T, and that is saying a lot

I still really like the TOYO M/T's I have (295/70r17), but I have found they don't have a long tread life. I have approx 20K miles on them and are about 50% gone. They are great for the loads I carry, but are fairly noisey on the highway and I really have no other choice for the weight rating I require.
