anyone check rear preload with 175,000+ miles. Wondering what value u got??

Wondering what preload values anyone has gotten when checking 11. 5 rear end axle with 175,000+ miles. . Just a courious question!

Have checked backlash at 200,000 miles and (cant remember exactly now ) was well within spec. I did so because my brother had to put carrier bearings in his 03 DRW at about the same mileage as backlash had opened up to . 035. His truck now has almost doubled that mileage with no other issues from diff.



The initial mileage saw heavy loads/heavy foot , with programmer on the Cochahaula (sp?) Hwy in BC. There are grades of 6-7% for 35 miles at a stretch.

After having issue with the programmer (Not sure brand) it was removed about same time as he did rearend, and has been left stock since, and treated a little more kindly.
