Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) anyone done the internal mods to hx-35 on there own?

called HTT turbo up today to order a 60mm wheel and housing to find out i need to shave a little bit off inside the turbo to compensate for the bigger wheel. i was just wondering if anyone had any info on this or if you have ever done it? any help would be great gotta pull this weekend and wanna be ready

I did the same upgrade and its worth every penny, but dont try to do it on your own, find a local machine shop to do it for you so your clearance is perfectly round to match the new wheel. I had a local do it for me and he made the arbors and measuring jigs and only charged me 60 bucks. Its not something you wanna try on your workbench in the garage. Trust me if i could have done it i would have, i do all my own work and dont trust to many people to do it for me, good luck and if you have any more ? let me know.
